Is CentraSight for You?

The Center for Vision Loss will sponsor a FREE program on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10 am featuring a presentation by Chris Peebles from Visioncare Ophthalmic Technologies. Mr. Peebles will speak about CentraSight, a revolutionary new FDA-approved treatment using a tiny telescope that is implanted inside the eye to improve vision and quality of life for patients with end stage macular degeneration.

Age-related macular degeneration is the leading cause of blindness in people 65+ creating loss of central vision. The new technology is designed to help patients see the things that are important to them, regain independence and re-engage in everyday activities. Mr. Peebles will also discuss who is eligible for the device.

The program is FREE and open to the public. No reservations are required. The location is the Center for Vision Loss office at 845 W. Wyoming Street, Allentown, PA 18103. For more information call 610-433-6018 or www.centerforvisionloss.org.

The Center for Vision Loss is the region's only community benefit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with vision loss and promoting healthy vision in the community. Services and programs are provided in Lehigh, Northampton and Monroe Counties. The Monroe Office is located at 4215 Manor Drive, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 and can be reached at 570-992-7787.
