Gourmet Olive Oil & Vinegars

Newtown, Doylestown, and Philadelphia Stores. The Tubby Olive operates three locations in Newtown, Doylestown, and Reading Terminal Market. The original store that opened in 2010 is nestled in the borough of historic Newtown, in Bucks County, just north of Center City Philadelphia, the Delaware Valley and an easy commute from New York City. Our charming food & gourmet shop offers an extensive selection of traditional, infused and organic olive oils and balsamic vinegars on tap for you to taste.

Our other Bucks County store opened in Doylestown, the county seat, in November of 2013. We join other State Street merchants in welcoming our regular shoppers as well Doylestown visitors who want to experience tasting our products on tap.

We have also joined the Reading Terminal Market merchants in Philadelphia with a store on "Avenue D" inside the Terminal. We are thrilled to be a part of this exciting marketplace that encompasses a variety of regional specialties and gourmet foods from around the world.

Specialty Foods & Gifts. We have carefully selected a large variety of specialty food and gift products. Their unique and natural qualities are versatile enough to complement any course, from appetizer to dessert. We are eager to share our wide variety of recipes with our customers. You can find recipes from simple to complex for an array of foods from appetizers to desserts.

Recipes & Guest Chefs. We invite "guest chefs" into our stores to create new recipes that use our olive oils and vinegars. We welcome restaurant chefs, personal chefs, and nutrition consultants into our stores, generally on a weekend afternoon. There is always something going on at one of our Tubby Olive locations!

Proprietors. Co-owners Nancy Murray and Sharon Huss have always enjoyed gourmet foods and first discovered gourmet olive oils and vinegars in their travels. In 2010, they decided to follow their passion and open up their first store in Newtown. Nancy is a retired educator from the New Hope-Solebury and Central Bucks School District and lives in Doylestown. Sharon previously worked as a Circulation and Production Manager for Condé Nast in New York. In addition, she was an antiques dealer in Americana and Folk Art. She currently resides in Washington Crossing, PA. Sharon and Nancy are members of the Specialty Food Association. They are always on the lookout for innovative gourmet food products and exceptional restaurants in the Bucks County area.
